Visionaries to the Throne Inc. was established in 2016 by founder and advocate, Damira Shields, Ed. D. Inspired by her childhood and passion for social equity, she founded the organization to educate grade school girls about local policy and budgeting and to empower them to create positive change in their communities. By engaging young minds in civic involvement at the local level, the organization is cultivating future leaders for generations to come. In 2018, the organization was incorporated under Georgia law and received its 501(c)(3) status in 2020.
